What is the purpose of a driver emergency Button?
The driver emergency button can be found at the bottom centre of the settings menu (1). If you press the button, a pop-up window appears with a countdown during which you can still cancel the action (2). Click OK (3) to activate the emergency immediately, but you can also simply let the countdown run down. The emergency will then also be activated.
In the event of an active emergency, the service is automatically deactivated (= no more bookings can be received), recognisable by the orange bar at the top of the screen (4). At the same time, a message is sent to the Control Centre. This immediately informs the operations management to a potential issue on your end. You can then coordinate as soon as your situation has been clarified.
Remember to reactivate the service (5) when you are ready for service again.
Important: The driver emergency button does not send any information to emergency services such as the police or ambulance! This is exclusively an internal function.
